Details

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R II sports a large 3.0-inch 1228K-dot LCD monitor with a tilting design to better serve working from high and low angles. Also it has a 0.39-inch 2.36M-dot XGA OLED Tru-Finder electronic viewfinder which integrates 4-lens optical system with two glass molded aspherical elements to ensure crisp and vibrant imagery.

The camera comes equipped with a large 42.4MP, Exmor RS back-illuminated CMOS sensor, so the camera is capable of producing high resolution still imagery and internal-recording FHD 1080p video up to 50 fps and 60 fps. For blazing performance the sensor is combined with the BIONZ X processor that allows fast readout speed and enables capturing images at expanded sensitivities ranging from ISO 50-102400. The design of the sensor also offers a backside-illuminated technology to improve clarity and image quality when working in dimly-lit conditions as well as low-noise imagery.

RX1R II comes with a fixed Zeiss Sonnar T* 35mm f/2 lens. The maximum aperture of f/2 can enable shallow depth-of-field as well as benefit image quality in low-light conditions. The 8 element 7 group optical construction utilizes three aspherical elements including 1 advanced aspherical to minimize aberrations and distortion.
