AVARI is a property funds management firm & private lender with over $1bn in assets. The firm began as a residential developer and now focuses on commercial property funds and private lending. We have a fully integrated property team including architects, analysts and project managers which is different from most firms our size. Our clients include; HNW individuals, private wealth groups, family offices here and in Asia and some large global institutions.
 

Our style of investing is Private Equity Real Estate, we search for mispriced opportunities in the property market. We aim to buy below market, fix any problems with the asset and sell within a short timeframe to maximise returns for our investors.  We are very strict when buying assets, we analyse over 1,000 property deals per year, 2-3 of these will usually pass our investment criteria. We back our decisions by investing our own capital along with our clients.
 

On the lending side of the business, we seek above-market returns for the risk we take. Our in-house property team means we can look at deals from an owners perspective, not a standard lender. If it is a good deal we will find a way to make it work. Our Private Loan Income Fund has returned 9.48%pa since inception, it contains a mix of loans originated and managed by Avari with a maximum of 65% LVR.
