Sony Alpha A9 (Body Only) is a top range SLR style mirrorless camera ideal for those who want to take their digital photography expertise to the next level. An intermediary camera between a digital compact and a full-fledged DSLR, this device is no pushover and is intended for the pros. Loaded with a 24.2-Megapixels full frame Exmor RS CMOS image sensor, it works in conjugation with a powerful BIONZ X Image Processing Engine which ensures speedy capture even when intended subject is in motion. The image sensor comes with integral memory which provides 20-percent faster speeds than all predecessor models.

The hi-res sensor of the camera ensures amazing burst photography and high speed signal processing with sensitivity as high as up to ISO 204800. Continuous shooting is possible at 20fps with autofocus and auto exposure tracking. You can take up to 362 shots in continuous shoot mode with natural color capture. A non mechanical electronic shutter is part of the camera design which allows you to view via electronic viewfinder. Its autofocus system is based on 693 points of phase detection with 93-percent coverage. An Enhanced Eye Autofocus function is also provided which records facial expressions and detects eye accurately.

Alpha A9 comes with Sony E lens mount and is compatible with all lenses designed for the Sony E mount. It models a 3.0-inch TFT touch screen LCD with 1,440,000-dot resolution and a 5-step brightness control. The camera provides a built-in Wi-Fi unit so you are always able to transfer and share photos to other devices or your favorite social networks easily.
