Sony Alpha a5000 ILCE-5000Y (Kit 16-50mm and 55-210mm) is a mirrorless digital camera which is specially designed for multimedia image-makers due to its speed and versatility. The camera sports a 3.0-inch TFT type LCD screen with 460.8k-dot resolution, to suit working from high and low angles it can be tilted 180 degree upward. Included with the camera body are Sony E-mount compatible 16-50mm and 55-210mm lens kits to get you started.

Internally, the Alpha a5000 comes with a redeveloped 20.1MP APS-C sized Exmor HD CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor with clean image quality and accelerated readout speeds for 1080p video recording at 60, 30 or 24 fps. The camera features Fast Hybrid AF system which offers 25 25 contrast-detection points to deliver fast, accurate and consistent focusing abilities. Alpha a5000 is able to record up to 3.5 fps continuous shooting with notable sensitivity to ISO 16000. Moreover its built-in Wi-Fi and NFC compatibility permits the user to link their mobile device for intuitive wireless control.
