Sony A6300 is APS-C-format mirrorless digital camera which is specially designed for multimedia image-makers. The camera is crafted with a robust magnesium alloy body that offers a durable profile and it also incorporates dust and moisture seals to protect the camera from harsh environments. It sports a 3.0-inch 921.6k-dot LCD screen, to suit working from high and low angles it can be tilted 90° upward or 45° downward. Along with LCD the XGA Tru-Finder 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder is also provided which offers eye-level monitoring with bright and high-resolution.
Internally, the A6300 comes with a redeveloped 24.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor with clean image quality, a wide expandable sensitivity range to ISO 51200 and accelerated readout speeds for internal 4K video recording @30 and Full HD 1080p recording @120. The stunning combination of sensor and processor also allows 4D FOCUS, this combines a wide-coverage 425-point phase-detection system with a 169-area contrast detection system for quick and precise focusing performance. The apt processing speed enables continuous shooting at 11 fps for up to 21 raw frames in a burst as well as 14-bit raw file output. Moreover its built-in Wi-Fi and NFC compatibility permits the user to link their mobile device for intuitive wireless control.
Included with the camera body is a Sony E-mount 16-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens. This lens provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 24-105mm. The constant f/4 maximum aperture enables greater consistency throughout the zoom range and benefits working in dim conditions with longer focal lengths. This is the ideal lens for everyday shooting and is further enhanced through the inclusion of Optical SteadyShot image stabilization for minimizing the appearance of camera shake.
