Nikon D5500 (Kit AF-P 18-55mm and 55-300mm) is a very sophisticated DSLR camera from well-known camera manufacturer Nikon. The body of the camera is slightly smaller and lighter than its predecessor, incorporating durable profile with Dust Reduction System to protect camera from harsh environments. It sports a large 3.2-inch 1037k-dot vari-angle touchscreen LCD monitor. A bright pentamirror optical viewfinder is also integrated into the design of camera which enables precise eye-level viewing and real-time monitoring of subjects.

As far as internal hardware is concerned, this camera comes equipped with a 24.2- Megapixels sensor and an EXPEED 4 image processor. The D5500 offers a 39-point autofocus system with nine cross-type sensors and a 2016-pixel RGB sensor for precise exposure metering in a wide variety of lighting conditions. The optical low-pass filter is omitted from the sensor, allowing for additional sharpness in both photos and videos. Along with its imaging assets, Full HD videos can also be shot at multiple frame rates up to 60 fps with full-time continuous auto focusing capabilities.

A built-in Wi-Fi allows advanced image sharing capabilities, remote viewing and control over shutter release is possible from a distance when paired with an Android or iOS mobile device. Included with the D5500 camera body is an AF-P 18-55mm and 55-300mm lens kit to get you started. This Super Integrated Coated lens reduces the flare and ghosting to optimize image clarity, contrast, and color neutrality and a rounded diaphragm works to create a pleasing out-of-focus quality in shallow depth of field images.
