Nikon D5 is a flagship model in Nikons DSLR lineup. The camera incorporates very compact yet durable body made up of magnesium-alloy which is strong yet lightweight. D5 performs well in every environment especially in intense conditions due to its dust and weather sealed profile. It sports 3.2-inch 2.36m-dot touchscreen LCD monitor which offers clear playback and live view shooting, along with an intuitive means for navigating the menu system. This model features XQD memory card slots to provide versatility in file handling during shooting.

As far as hardware is concerned, D5 come equipped with 20.8 Megapixel CMOS Sensor with Nikon EXPEED 5 image processor. This combination of sensor and processor provides incredibly high resolution images and high performance along with an impressive 12 fps continuous shooting rate and an expandable sensitivity range that goes up to ISO 3280000. Along with its imaging assets this camera is well capable of 4K UHD video recording at 30 fps. The Multi-CAM 20K 153-point AF system incorporates 99 cross-type sensors for refined precision when tracking moving subjects or working in difficult lighting conditions.
